How much does TV mounting cost?

TrueLVL uses flat-rate pricing with three tiers, and the rate you see is the rate you pay. The Standard is $299 and covers a stud-secured, precision-leveled install with your signal cables concealed inside the wall. The Integrated is $449 and adds power relocation so no cords show at all. The Gallery is $649 and delivers a flush, gallery-style install for Frame and LG G Series displays, with full in-wall concealment and a media enclosure. What's included in each price?

Each tier is a flat rate with everything named up front.

The Standard ($299) covers stud-secured installation, precision leveling, in-wall signal cable concealment (CL3-rated, NEC-compliant cable for HDMI, ethernet, and optical), surface protection, post-install cleanup, and your approval before the technician leaves.

The Integrated ($449) includes everything in The Standard plus single-location power relocation or a recessed outlet, so no cords show, plus display setup and connection verification.

The Gallery ($649) includes everything in The Integrated plus flush-mount installation using the display's proprietary mount, full in-wall wire concealment, an in-wall media enclosure, a pre-install placement consultation, and Art Mode confirmation.

The mount is customer-supplied for Standard and Integrated; Gallery uses the proprietary mount that ships with the display.

Are there hidden fees or surprise charges?

No. Every charge is named before you book, and nothing is added on arrival. A few conditions carry a published add-on, each confirmed on the scope call from your photos: a specialty surface like brick, stone, or tile is +$100; mounting above a fireplace is +$150; a TV 85 inches or larger is +$50, and 100 inches or larger is +$100. Will the price change when the technician arrives?

No. The price confirmed in your quote is the price the technician arrives with. The only time a figure changes is before the appointment is ever scheduled: if your photos or the scope call reveal a condition you had not mentioned, such as a brick or stone surface (+$100) or a TV 85 inches or larger (+$50), or if you add an option like soundbar installation or TrueLVL mount sourcing. Do I need to buy my own mount, or do you provide one?

No tier price includes a mount. For The Standard ($299) and The Integrated ($449), you supply your own; if you would rather not buy one yourself, TrueLVL can source the correct mount for you for a flat fee plus the mount cost. The Gallery ($649) uses the proprietary mount specific to your Frame or LG G Series display rather than a standard flat mount. Whichever tier you choose, your mount is confirmed on the scope call so it fits your TV and wall.

What if I need more than one TV mounted?

Additional TVs mounted on the same visit are billed at a reduced same-visit rate, each lower than the first-TV price. A second TV at The Standard is $199, The Integrated is $299, and The Gallery is $449. Every TV is held to the same standard: stud-secured, precision-leveled, and approved by you before the technician leaves. Hiding the wires

Wires, Power & Concealment

The clean, built-in look is the whole point. Signal cables disappear into the wall on every tier; power is the only cord that takes more.

Can you hide the wires in the wall?

Yes, and in-wall signal cable concealment is included in every tier, starting with The Standard at $299. Your HDMI, ethernet, and optical cables are run inside the wall using CL3-rated, NEC-compliant cable, so nothing dangles below it. The one cord that cannot legally go inside a wall on its own is the power cable, because running a standard power cord in-wall is a code violation and a fire hazard. To remove that last cord, The Integrated relocates power to a recessed outlet behind the TV. The result is a clean wall with no visible wires.

Can you put an outlet behind the TV so no cords show?

Yes. The Integrated ($449) includes single-location power relocation or a recessed outlet installed at the TV, which eliminates the only cord a Standard install leaves visible. This is the code-compliant way to get a fully wire-free look: signal cables run in-wall on every tier, and Integrated moves power so nothing shows on the wall at all. The Gallery ($649) includes the same power work plus an in-wall media enclosure. A surface cord cover is not how TrueLVL finishes a wall, because the in-wall result is cleaner and permanent.

Can you hide the wires if I'm renting?

Often, yes, but it depends on what your lease allows. In-wall signal cable concealment uses small, finishable openings rather than open channels, and anchor points are kept to the minimum the mount requires, which many landlords permit. Power relocation is a more permanent wall modification, so for renters it is reviewed case by case on the scope call. Walls, Fireplaces & Specialty TVs

Brick, stone, an awkward stud, above the fireplace, a Frame TV. The hard installs are the work, not the exception.

Can you mount on brick, stone, concrete, or tile?

Yes. TrueLVL installs on brick, stone, concrete, and tile regularly, and these surfaces carry a +$100 specialty-surface charge. They call for masonry-rated anchors or concrete screws and a different drilling technique than drywall, so the work is slower and the hardware is specific. The wall material is confirmed on the scope call and from your photos, so the correct anchors are planned before the appointment, not discovered on arrival. What if there's no stud where I want the TV, or I have metal studs?

That is handled, and it is exactly why TrueLVL maps the wall before mounting. On wood studs, the mount is anchored directly into the framing. Where there is no stud in the spot you want, or where the wall has metal studs or is hollow, the install uses heavy-duty anchors rated for the full load of your TV and mount, such as toggle anchors selected for the wall type. Can you mount a TV above my fireplace?

Yes. Mounting above a fireplace is a TrueLVL specialty and a common request, handled as a +$150 service that includes a heat-clearance consultation and mantel protection. Many of these walls are brick or stone, which is planned for in advance from your photos. If you want a pull-down or full-motion mount so the screen lowers to eye level when you watch, that is available as an add-on and confirmed on the scope call. Will the fireplace heat damage my TV?

Not when the install accounts for it, which is why every above-fireplace job includes a heat-clearance consultation. TrueLVL confirms the mounting height and clearance above the firebox so the screen sits outside the heat path, and the mantel is protected during the work. Where the layout allows, a pull-down or tilting mount keeps the TV at a comfortable viewing angle and farther from rising heat. Do you install Samsung Frame and LG G Series TVs?

Yes. Frame and LG G Series installation is a core TrueLVL specialty, delivered through The Gallery ($649). These displays ship with a proprietary mount, such as the Samsung No-Gap Wall Mount or the LG Gallery bracket, and need precise gap calibration for a flush, framed-art look. TrueLVL handles flush mounting, full in-wall cable concealment, One Connect box placement, a media enclosure, and Art Mode confirmation. What's the largest TV you can mount?

TrueLVL mounts every common size, including the largest consumer displays. TVs 85 inches and larger carry a +$50 handling charge, and 100 inches and larger is +$100, because they need heavier hardware and more install time. Commercial-grade displays over 150 pounds are quoted individually after a structural assessment. Because TrueLVL is a solo operation, a very large TV that needs a second set of hands is planned for in advance from the scope call, so the lift is never improvised on the day. See full pricing.

How it works

Scheduling & The Process

Every step is defined before the technician arrives. The process exists to protect you, not to slow you down.

How soon can you come out? Do you offer same-day?

Most installs are completed within 3 to 5 business days of the confirmed scope call, typically within the same week, subject to booking volume. Same-day or next-day service may be available as rush scheduling for +$75 when the calendar allows, so raise your timeline on the scope call. TrueLVL is not a same-day-on-demand service because the photo and scope step is what prevents the on-arrival refusals and surprise upcharges common elsewhere. Do you work evenings or weekends?

Yes, after-hours installs on evenings and weekends are available for +$75, subject to availability. If a weekday daytime appointment does not fit your schedule, say so on the scope call and TrueLVL will work to find a slot that does. The same standard and the same flat-rate pricing apply whenever the install happens. Availability is confirmed when your appointment is scheduled.

How do I book a TV mounting appointment?

Booking happens in one sitting on the TrueLVL booking page. You choose your service and add-ons, pick an install date, agree to our Terms of Service, and pay a $50 deposit to reserve the slot. The deposit credits toward your final balance. After you book, TrueLVL confirms the details with a photo review of your wall and a scope call before install day, so the plan and price are set before the technician arrives. Why do you need photos before install day?

The photos let the technician see your actual wall before install day: the surface, stud indicators, existing cable and outlet locations, the room layout, and the TV size relative to the space. That means arriving with the correct hardware, plan, and time set aside, with no surprises. It is the step that prevents the on-arrival refusals and surprise upcharges that dominate complaints about other installers. How long does the install take, and do you clean up?

Most single-TV installs take about one to two hours, depending on the tier, the wall surface, and the amount of cable concealment and power work involved. A Standard mount is quicker; a Gallery install with in-wall concealment and a media enclosure takes longer. The exact window is confirmed on the scope call so you know what to set aside. Surfaces are protected during the work, the area is cleaned up before the technician leaves, and nothing is considered finished until you have approved the result.

Your wall is handled by someone who knows what is behind it. If anything is ever wrong, TrueLVL comes back and corrects it.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. TrueLVL is licensed and insured, and Corey brings more than ten years of construction experience to every install. If your building, HOA, or condo association requires proof of insurance before work begins, ask on the scope call and it will be provided. Insurance is the floor, not the selling point. Will mounting damage my wall?

Mounting a TV means drilling into the wall, so the honest answer is that the wall is altered by design. What TrueLVL controls is how: every anchor point is stud-secured on drywall or properly rated for masonry, stone, or brick, the mount is structurally sound, and there are no unnecessary holes. A professional install leaves clean, intentional anchor points; an amateur one leaves misaligned holes, stripped anchors, and torn drywall. What you get is controlled, planned, structurally sound work, not a false promise of zero holes.

How do you make sure the TV won't fall?

Every mount is anchored into structure, not just drywall. On framed walls that means stud-secured anchoring into the framing; on masonry, stone, or brick it means anchors rated for that material and that load. The mount is leveled and load-checked before the install is called done, and nothing is left to a plastic drywall plug holding a 60-pound screen. What if something goes wrong after you leave?

Every TrueLVL installation carries a Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee. If anything shifts, loosens, or falls out of alignment, TrueLVL returns and corrects it at no charge. Are you a handyman or general contractor?

No. TrueLVL is a specialist. TV mounting, AV integration, and cable management are the only services it provides; it is the entire business, not one line item among forty on a generalist profile. That focus is why the tooling and hardware are specific to this work, why the technician mounts TVs every day rather than between unrelated jobs, and why the same standard holds on every install. Do you do anything besides mount TVs?

TrueLVL's scope is TV mounting, AV integration, and the cable and power work that goes with it. Soundbar installation is available as an add-on to any visit, at +$50 on a cabinet or credenza and +$75 wall-mounted. Outdoor TV mounting is a dedicated specialty for covered-patio installs at a flat $449.
